Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission is on the journal template. Only articles on the journal template will be considered for review.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Preparation of Manuscripts
- Download and submit your article on the journal template. Only articles on the journal template will be considered for review.
- The first page should contain the title of paper, author’s name/s, institutional affiliations including postal address of all authors and address for correspondence including telephone, and email details. In the case of joint authorship (shall not exceed five authors), authors should indicate which of them should receive correspondences from the editorial office.
- Provide an abstract of not more than 200 words, and five (5) keywords.
- References: The Harvard-style will be followed. Quotations in the text should be followed by the author’s surname and the year of the publication. For a direct quote, the page number should be included, e.g. (Lututala 1995:81). References at the end of the manuscript contain more details about sources referred to in the text. Sources are arranged alphabetically according to the surnames of the authors. When more than one publication of the same author/s are referred to, they should be arranged chronologically according to years of publication. If more than one publication of the same author/s appeared in one year, they should be distinguished by ‘a’, ‘b’ etc., e.g. 1982a, 1982b. text Examples of references are as follows:

Citations: Authors are encouraged to cite at least one or more references from the past edition of the Journal which can be found in reputable libraries or on https://aps.journals.ac.za/pub
Submission of Manuscripts
Author/s Guarantee Form: Authors will be asked to indicate at the end of article that all named authors have contributed sufficiently to the work submitted and that the content of the manuscript has never been previously published.
Copyright: A copyright form will be sent to author(s) to sign before publication can be done.
