Article Processing Charge Introduced for JAPS

The Journal of African Population Studies (JAPS) wishes to inform authors and prospective contributors that the Journal has introduced an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 300, effective July 2026.

The introduction of the APC is part of the Journal’s efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability and effective management of JAPS. The charge contributes to the costs associated with managing the publication process, including editorial administration, peer review, manuscript processing, production and publication.

Authors are therefore encouraged to take note of the USD 300 APC when preparing manuscripts for submission.
